PARENTS, FAMILY & FRIENDS are welcome to come and cheer on your student(s) while they run laps around the LNS track.  Every student receives a free LNS 2026 Runathon T-shirt to wear the day of the run and to keep for school spirit!  You will be counted as a spectator for your child, if you show up to cheer them on, they may win a prize!

Tentative Elementary Runathon schedule:
5th grade = 8:45am – 9:30am
4th grade = 9:35am – 10:20am
3rd grade = 10:25am – 11:10am
KG = 11:15am – 11:50am
LUNCH
1st grade = 12:25pm – 1:10pm
2nd grade = 1:15pm – 2:00pm
Middle School Color Run*: 2:20pm – 3:10pm (*Back by popular demand!)

Hearts of Valor Annual 5K Walk/Run — A Valentine’s Day Celebration of Heart Health and Community

Join us for the 2nd Annual Hearts of Valor 5K Walk/Run, a family-friendly event dedicated to spreading love and awareness for heart health! Lace up your running shoes and bring your loved ones to Al Lopez park on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2026, for a morning filled with fun, fitness, and purpose.

Whether you’re a seasoned runner, a casual walker, or bringing the kids along for a healthy family outing, this event is for everyone. Celebrate Valentine’s Day in a meaningful way by taking strides toward better heart health while supporting Hearts of Valor Inc.’s mission to fight cardiovascular disease in our community.

 

 

Thrive Strive

Trive & Strive 5K – Land O Lakes, FL

Welcome to the 2nd Annual Thrive & Strive Race in the scenic Bexley Community of Land O’Lakes, Florida! Join us for a fun-filled event featuring a 5K, run/walk as we unite the community for fitness, fun, and fundraising.  Whether you’re an experienced runner or just looking for a fun way to stay active, this event is for everyone!

The race will kick off and conclude at 4&Co Coworking Spaces, a vibrant hub located in the heart of the community, offering a welcoming start and finish line for all participants.  From there, runners will venture through the scenic trails and charming streets of Bexley Community.  The route will take them past local landmarks, leafy park paths, and quaint residential areas, showcasing the natural beauty and friendly atmosphere that makes this community unique.  The course promises both a visually engaging experience and a route varied in terrain, blending urban streetscapes with peaceful trail segments for a memorable run.

This event is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Crescent City’s Catfish Festival. Proceeds from this event will to support the Crescent City Rotary Club’s “Dollars for Scholars”.  All participants will recieve a beautiful and unique t-shirt, finisher’s medal, goody bag, and post-race refreshments. Availability and size of shirts only guaranteed to those who register by March 20, 2026.

Welcome to the 2nd Annual Breaking Barriers 5k Run/Walk. The event will begin at Lake Eva Park, race around the beautiful lake and end at back at the park. Join us for a fun-filled event as we unite the community for fitness, fun, and fundraising. There will also be a FREE untimed 5k Run/Walk for those aged 10 and Under providing an opportunity for everyone to participate. Whether you’re an experienced runner or just looking for a fun way to stay active, this event is for everyone! All participants registered before March 27, 2026 will receive a custom t-shirt and all finishers will receive a beautiful Finishers Medal.

Thrive Strive

RUN Manatee – Tom Bennet Park 5K

The RUN Manatee 5k series offers THREE adventures to celebrate ONE community. Participants will discover Manatee County’s parks, beaches and preserves… on the run!  The 2026 series kickoff event will be held on Saturday, April 11th at Tom Bennett Park in Bradenton, FL.  The 5K run/walk presented by RWP Runs includes a scenic route around ponds and along mixed terrain such as grass, crushed shell and asphalt. Warm up will be provided by Nick Nolting Training and yoga cooldown is by Kayla McCarthy-Asha of Akasha Yoga Room. 
Participants of all age and activity levels are welcome to this day of fitness, food and family fun!  Grab a healthy breakfast/lunch, shop local vendors in the marketplace, climb on the Bradenton Kiwanis Playground, or cool off in the new splash pad.  There’s plenty to do even if you’re not running!
